DIANA MAO, Co-Founder, President
Diana Mao is the President and Co-Founder of Nomi Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to economically and socially empowering survivors of human trafficking. A research trip to Cambodia fueled Diana's passion for fighting human trafficking, when she witnessed the horrors of sex trafficking. With Nomi Network, Diana hopes to change the lives of women in India and Cambodia who are at risk for or survivors of Human Trafficking. Nomi's training program is vital to helping women become financially independent, by providing them with the necessary skills to support themselves and their families. So far, Nomi has helped hundreds of women and their families.

Diana received a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in Public Administration with a specialization in International Management from New York University's Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. She is experienced in governmental consulting, domestic and international economic development, social entrepreneurship, micro-finance, and launching awareness raising campaigns. Diana is a recent graduate of the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, a program that enabled her to meet with former US Presidents and other leaders to learn firsthand how to create large scale, systematic change.   She is also an accomplished and experienced public speaker, having spoken at the United Nations, Rotary Peace Institute, Net Impact, and other conferences.

In addition to fighting for an end to human trafficking, Diana is a Co-Chair for the Nexus Human Trafficking and Modern Day Slavery Working Group, on the Advisory Board of the Equality Fund, and a former Program Mentor for The Bush Center Women's Initiative Fellowship. She is a blogger for the Huffington Post, Reuters, and occasionally the United States Chamber of Commerce Business Civic Leadership Center. Diana has visited over 30 countries and hopes to achieve her goal of visiting every country in her lifetime. She loves her Slim Envelope Laptop Carrier.


ALISSA MOORE-WILLIAMS,
Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Alissa’s background is in the performing arts where she has experience in non-profit governance, federal level arts policy, national arts research, equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives and grant making. She received a B.A. with Honors in Theatre and American Studies from Skidmore College, was the recipient of the
Margaret Ellen Clifford Memorial Prize for excellence in theatre, and was a two time recipient of Theatre Communications Group’s Leadership University Grant,funded through the Andrew Mellon Foundation. She and her husband live in Brooklyn, NY. Alissa's favorite Nomi product is the Fruit Cosmetic Case.


MARIA DORA BLACKBURN, Operations and Special Projects Manager
Maria Dora Blackburn is an administrative advocate against human trafficking. As Nomi Network’s Operations and Special Projects Manager, she oversees the NYC office needs, fosters partnerships, and connects with volunteers. Previously, she volunteered with The Price of Life NYC, a citywide human trafficking awareness raising campaign, as Assistant to the Director. She is NYCUP Alum and formerly worked in vendor relations. Maria has her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Hofstra University. While in school, she founded Hofstra Freedom Movement, aiming to coordinate and equip students with resources to fight trafficking. Her favorite Nomi product is the Mermaid Foldover Clutch. 

JANAY NACHEL FRAZIER, 
Visual Designer
Janay received her BFA in the Electronic Design & Multimedia program from the City College of New York. She is a proud creative of Nomi Network where she is living out her desire to design for the good of others. Her previous design experience includes working alongside art Director, Sarah Beddington on a window series created for PS 290, a charter school in Queens, NY. Janay was a finalist for the CUNY-wide Human Rights Poster Competition, for her poster One Body, One Race, Human. Janay’s favorite Nomi product is the Envelope Wallet.

SUPEI LIU, Co-founder, Vice President 
of Product Development and Training 
With over twelve years of experience in the retail and wholesale industry as a buyer, planner, and director, Supei Liu is a dual graduate of Penn State University and the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since 2008, she has utilized her retail and supply chain expertise in international economic development, creating social entrepreneurship and business opportunities to combat human trafficking. Currently she divides her time between working with local communities and raising CSR awareness among business professionals. She is passionate about helping women through training and job creation.


HOM BUT, Project Manager

Hom But received his Bachelor of Accounting in Business Administration from the National University of Management. He went on to get his Master’s in Development Management, specializing in community/rural development, from Norton University in Phnom Penh City. Hom has eight years expertise in project management, social work, counseling, monitoring & evaluation, as well as organizational development. Hom received the Mara Schneiders Award for top supervisors from the Social Work Department of Royal University, Phnom Penh. His passion is to help women and their children live free from trafficking and become financially independent through training and job creation.

SUZANNA ALLIBONE, Technical Trainer
Suzanne graduated from Sydney Institute of Technology in Fashion Manufacturing, and the University of Technology (Australia) in both Adult Education, and Project Management, with 20+yrs experience training in Technical Education and Vocational Training institutes. Since 2010 Suzanne has lived and worked in both Cambodia and Nepal as a technical trainer and project manager in the garment making and Technical Education sectors. She is passionate about working cross culturally with organizations that exist to change lives, putting skills in the hands of women enabling them to exceed what they never imagined possible through practical, life giving training, coaching and mentoring. Her favorite Nomi product is the Laptop Carrier in Charcoal Gray.

SHANKAR KUMAR, Program Manager 
Since childhood Shankhar wanted to study social work, with his fathers encourangement, he graduated from Patna University of Bihar and went on to receive his Post Graduate at Visva Bharati University. In 2008 he became Program officer for Aide Et Action in Bihar. There he worked on livelihood education and training programs. In 2010 Shankar joined an organization where he promoted micro enterprise management and development. There he worked with a project for the Rehabilitation of Female sex workers. After completing this project he joined Nomi Network as a State Program Manager - Bihar, India in 2012.

IRSHAD ALAM, Production Supervisor 
Irshad Alam was born in Forbesganj, where his father was a tailor master. After completing school Irshad joined his father’s business. Ishard knew he wanted to do something different so he joined a private banking company as an independent agent for the two years, until the company closed. He again joined his father business while searching for another job. During this period he learned about Nomi Network, where he joined as field staff in 2014. His area of expertise is managing production. He enjoys using his tailoring background to help women learn stitching.
